Complete circuit replacement
If a home is being gutted and the circuit wiring needs to be replaced (reasons for this include, the wiring being old, knob and tube wiring, aluminum wiring, upgrading circuits, etc.)

Fuse Box or Panel upgrade
Homes that are old may still have fuse boxes or service panels that are very old and no longer meet code requirements.

New light fixtures
It is always less expensive to make modifications during any kind of renovations. If it's decided that anything concerning the electrical system is going to be changed or upgraded after renovations are completed, there will be added cost to doing so and some of the finishing work done post renovation will have to be undone (meaning added expense)

Installing additional circuits
Older homes were not built in mind with the electrical needs of a modern 21st century home. As a result, adding new circuits to a home being remodeled is a very common service. Keep in mind if more circuits are added other parts of the electrical system may need to be upgraded or modified.

Installing additional outlets
The installation of additional outlets is a relatively straight forward process. But making sure they are done up to today's codes and ensuring the circuit can handle any additional load. Additionally, newly installed outlets have GFCI and AFCI requirements which must pass inspection requirements once and remodeling and renovations are completed.
